sillyextremely cool stetson is still firmly placed on his head and he grins at the other man broadly.]Hello there. This seat taken? [With his free hand, he points at the barstool to Lockon's right.]
no subject
Doesn't look like a reserved chair to me, so it should be a free game. Unless it has a name glued underneath.
no subject
No name anywhere! And speaking of names ... [He moves to sit down on the stool and sets his tea down on the bar, extending a hand to Lockon.] The Doctor. Wonderful to meet you. Now, what brings you here?
no subject
So... medicine? Or sciences? I would put the bet on latter, because that hat tells me so. [ he points at the stetson ] But I am not most lucky in bets.
no subject
Both and more. I am easily distracted. Or at least my friends often tell me I am. [His smile is an enigma, like an unspoken secret hanging between him and Lockon.] I usually am, but it often depends on the bet. Or the back up plan one's got in store. Or just your ability to run really fast. [And he is brilliant at the last two, that's for sure.]
So, Neil, you are either from a place called Ireland or a planet that makes you sound like you are. Could be both, really. I think that planet - Menora 7, was it? - even has a city called Ireland or several. [Sorry, he is just expecting you to be used to time-space-travels. He does that sometimes.]

A staring contest! Genos is not going to back down from that, he stares right back. Just the way he does everything - very seriously. ]

[Honestly? Not really, but as long as no one is serving alcohol to the kids and the kids aren't getting in trouble, no one seems to mind either.]
Are you from the Capitol?

Ginia Solana | OC
[There are worst afterlives to be in, though Ginia isn't sure if the place is an afterlife or not. More of a waystation for people to drop in and out of without any consequences in their lives and their worlds. With no life left in her world, the bar and its world has become her home.
It's another night. Ginia can be found working her bartending magic behind the bar, over by the pool table or dartboard, or kicking back with a drink of her own with her loyal dog at her side.]
no subject
Ginia? A familiar face! [ he beams but then pauses ] Or am I mistaken?
no subject
[She's seen a lot of people over the years, living in her world and living here. But she's got a good memory and some people you can never forget. Ginia grins back at Lockon and nods, hands signing quickly in front of her.]
/The one and only. Good to see you again, L-O-C-K-O-N. How have you been? Give me a moment to mix your drink./
no subject
Take the all time you need. I'm not going anywhere.
no subject
[She's not going anywhere either, but good service is a must. It doesn't take long for Ginia to mix the drink and set on a coaster in front of Lockon. As she wipes her hands off on a towel, her dog pads over to sniff at Lockon. She sniffs at him before sitting next to him, tail wagging slowly.]
/Meet my dog, F-R-E-Y-A./

[ Then he climbs back on the chair ] Or is it "mascot" job she has here?

He pulled out a chair for himself and sat down at the bar, slightly lifting the hat's rim so he could look the bartender right in the eye, then said:]
One cup of tea, make it strong. [In his best impression of the cowboy you would find in a wild west scenario. Not that this was, but last time a lot of things had gotten in the way of him enjoying it, so he wanted to give it another shot.]

[There's something about a hat that makes someone more noticeable, especially a hat as distinct as a stetson. Not the kind of average wear you usually see, barring certain areas.
Ginia nods her head at him, quickly signing a response.]
/Of course. Any preference for type of tea? We have several types of white, green, and black tea on hand, but if you want something specific, I'll see what I can do./
[The nice thing about a bar that exists in all places and no places? The shelves know what you need.]
no subject
/What would you recommend, Miss Bartender?/
[Tea is good for the soul, any kind of tea. But he's a fan of trying new things, so he's curious what she will get him.]
no subject
/If your tastes lie toward something minty, we have a Moroccan mint tea on hand. Very strong and fragrant. If you would like a sweeter flavor, I can think of a good black tea from China. Assam tea is also very popular. Personally, I enjoy the Moroccan mint./
no subject
/Minty it is, then./ [He was saying that he wanted to go with what she recommends after all.] /I'm the Doctor, by the way. Have you worked here long, Miss?/
