Interesting choice of attire. Caster, isn't it?

What can I say? I'm a man of many talents. [ he barks with an audible chuckle. Many talents might it be, but he'd rather be a Lancer, really ]
no subject
And here I was hoping for a different Servant. Just my luck. [he sighs, not much impressed with the Servant he just summoned.] Oh well, at least it worked.

[Fate AU - First Meeting]
The basement of the wine cellar may not be the most dignified place for a summoning a heroic spirit, but it was the easiest place. Even as she drew the last lines, doubt weighed on Ginia's mind. Yes, she trained alongside her brother and had all the experience needed, but she was supposed to be support. His eyes and shield, an extra source of mana if needed.
But there was no time for doubts, not when there was no one left. Dusting her hands off, Ginia stood and surveyed her work. No regrets now. Maybe one regret. She looked down at herself, still in her bartender's uniform. No, it wasn't the time to worry about silly things like wardrobe. Pushing the last distraction away, she set the relic in the center of the circle and began to channel magic, reciting the summoning mantra in her mind.]
////screams
As long as the incantation is correct, it seems doesn't matter how it's recited - out-loud or totally not. Flashes fill the room, along the smell of ozone as a hooded figure materializes in the summoning circle. He waits purposely as the cracks of small lightning die down - a proper entrance is required after all. Then he tilts his head just slightly, a grin visible on his face, maybe too knifelike for comfort, before he speaks ]
Servant Caster has answered your summon. [ Caster-class, huh. He does wonder easily if there is a purpose for choosing that particular class for him. Or is it just the last spot left. ] Well, let's try to have fun Master...
[ If this assumption is wrong, he expects it to be corrected soon enough- but hey, no one else in sight, summoning circle right under the feet. Possibility of her being someone else than his Master is rather slim ]
no subject
And now she's locked into a deathmatch. It's a sobering thought and her brief flash of joy fades as he expression falls neutral. She knows the relic, the identity. Is he disappointed he's not a Lancer class? Would he be a Lancer if she was a bit stronger, a bit more prepared?
No. There's no time for doubt. She taps briefly into magic, feels every wood surface and material near glow as the outline of everything surrounds her. She looks at the marks on her hand, a flower bisect by a dagger.
Everyone will pay for hurting her family. They will rue crossing the Solana family.]
Ginia. Ginia Solana. [She signs her name swiftly and quickly, the barrier of language gone with their connection, allows a faint smile.] I am pleased to meet you, Caster.
no subject
[ His smile is still crooked- or maybe that's just his face, there is no threat or danger in it. Instead, he seems to be assessing her thoughtfully from head to toe. Finally, he nods to himself, liking what he sees. Determination is always impressive, and in the end, they can always communicate telepathically through the link they share. And she's also a nice sight, if speaking in more prosaic reasons. ]
The contract is set. Have you got what you wanted for? [ He takes off the hood, offering a better look at his face. And immediately after that he exits the summoning circle, and start checking the alcohol racks curiously. Because #priorities
While indeed, the class is a surprise, he just wants to make sure - was it done on purpose, or was it an accident. Either tells them a lot about the current situation of the war they're in. First means, she must have some kind of strategy requiring a fellow mage, second- that the Lancer spot is taken. ]

We're not really supposed to go outside, you know?
[ It's hypocritical to say when sitting outside as well- but supposedly there is a literal nothingness behind the mountains. They hide lack of horizon. But Caster does use it as a conversation starter regardless. After all, this guy is still pretty new to Chaldea, and he was one of the first here.
Who would have thought this guy will show his face so soon. Like a curse, indeed ]

Hmph. [Archer's eloquent as always. Of course their paths have had to cross again, as if the fate loved the irony. Archer isn't going to deny that he's grown rather fond of the spearman in blue. Speaking of which--]
Odd to see you in this get-up.

[ Find a good side in everything, yes. His druid garb will keep him warmer than Archer's armor when they're outside. Which again, they shouldn't be. And if they wander too long they might get a scolding from that doctor guy, or Da Vinci.
The latter could be fun ]

I heard you liked Fate Au's
Do you realize how frustrating and insulting it was that, of all servants, they had gotten a Caster?
Well, he made it possible to find ways through some of the rules. That's why they were left alone in the receiving room that had been used for the summoning ritual. ]
... Figures that it'd be a second rate Caster that that prince summoned. You can already tell that your 'master' doesn't have as much to give, yeah? You'll be getting your mana from me. I'm a magi- one of the wizards of creation. Oracle and 'master magician' to your master. Tell me which heroic spirit you are.
[ So it's his own ego that's decided that the Caster was second rate, and had nothing to do with the servant's capabilities. ]
I DO ₍₍ ( ๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓)◞♡
Of course, mages never change no matter the times, no matter the place. So no surprise, that the smirking brat here is acting so high and mighty. Not best first impression there, but an important information has been given nonetheless- ]
What- So you're not even my Master, just a resource? [ Caster lazily starts to look around unfamiliar surroundings, even if there should be a basic knowledge about the world and current time granted by the summoning, something got botched in the process.
At least he got the language, imagine what kind of problem would be without that. ]
Lead me to him then, Oracle, I believe we have a lot to discuss.
[ Trying to out-boast a Heroic Spirit? Try doing that when you become one, ha! As far as Caster's concerned, he answers only to his Master, the one who summoned him, and then one who holds the command seals. ]
no subject
[ Meaning that this was your room for now, and he wasn't about to lead you anywhere. It was through him that the summoning had even happened, but he wasn't able to become a Master. Much like how Magis always chose their king vessels, they couldn't become one themselves. That's how it worked in this, even if rules had been getting broken.
However, powering anything from the summoning mage was linked to the enormous source that was in front of the servant. ]
You're essentially a means for them to participate, but you won't actually be needed for this war. We'll be utilizing magic tools and djinn for that. You're obsolete, 'Hero,' unless you give me a good reason to pass on to them.
no subject
But the brat is not lying, magical-energy wise, he's a goddamn powerhouse. Which sadly gives credibility the story he's presenting, joint Masters one for seals, other for providing magical energy... smart synergy if you're not good as a mage, and have someone you can trust.
While out of curiosity, he traces the weird connection between the mage here and someone else, he's more interested in figuring out defenses and potential barriers around the room. Just because the magi won't lead him anywhere, doesn't mean he can go exploring on his own later. If he finds the way out, that's it. ]
Really, that's why mages are a pain. [ He shrugs as he dematerializes. Oh sure, he's still around, teleportation is a rare skill and majority of Servants can achieve it only when using up a command seal is involved. When he continues speaking annoyance in his voice is more readily apparent ] So you've got a weapon on your hands that you're not going to use? One that will burn your enemies to ashes and one that could turn any place you desire into a fortress.
[ Caster's presence is still very clearly in the room with no signs of stirring back outside. So not trying to escape, yet ]
Whether you want it or not, you will end in a field sooner or later. A stationary target, no matter how well guarded is still that- a target.
[ And someone out there will figure out how to flush you out of here. An active Servant guarantees both offense and defense- well, a Caster servant that is. Try defending anything with Berserker, good luck! ]

Caster happened to be one of said sturdier people. Kamui's constant visits were for either one of two reasons, or both: Good food, and a good fight.
They'd taken to a part of the forest that they hadn't destroyed--and were trying not to, lest they suffer another scolding, and Kamui wanted to stay in Archer's good graces. After a long battle, Kamui figured it was time to end things. Twisting in the air, he lands against a tree trunk before pushing off and tackling Caster onto the ground. He holds a fist up, but doesn't bring it down, his other hand pinning Caster down by his shoulder. ]
So what is it? 50-51 now? [ His smile forms into more of a smirk, blue eyes looking down at red. He only showed them when he was really having a good time. ]
no subject
And you know, Servant wise, he's not even that strong. He's literally just a Caster. But that's enough to keep up with Kamui even if not having that much of advantage to continuously win. It's always interesting to see who beats who, though. ]
You're on the lead again. Worry not, next time will be an even tie again. [ He'll figure out how to counter those new moves he saw today. ] And then next time--
[ Next time he might get ahead. Or not. Doesn't matter that much as they're having fun. He raises his own hand to fistbump that raised fist at him- that could so easily crush someone skull, really. ] Now better get off me, before someone gets a wrong idea
[ #it'sajoke ]
no subject
[ He was going to get off, but now Kamui was just going to sit atop of him. ]
Make me, then. If you can, that is. [ He scoffs lightly. Taunting. ]

Fate AU
Fingers tighten on his rifle as he strains his ears to catch the sound that alarmed him a second before. It takes some time until he takes his hand away and returns to his task. It's foolish to stay in one place for so long, that much he knows, especially in this war-torn place that still smells of blood and magecraft. The bodies he stumbled upon his run were magi, and his desire to check led him into becoming a practice target.
His supplies are running low. There must be a source of water somewhere out there. Emiya tears narrow strips from the clean cloth hidden in his backpack, intent on wrapping his wounds. It's better to focus on thinking ahead than of the blood still fresh on his hands and those he failed to save.]
you're dumb, its all dumb, i hate u
[ A voice from the above suddenly speaks. Casters don't have stealth the way Assassin's do, but against a human? A keen mage could maybe notice that Servant is around in spirit form- but this one here is too occupied with not bleeding out to take notice.
There is a hint of curiosity coming from the Servant, but since his Master hasn't really decided to get involved with this newcomer mess- Caster is here just to observe.
Or not, trigger happy mage-hunter is useful when he's targetting all the other mages, but who says he won't turn on Caster's Master? ]
/tags and hides under the desk
There is such possibility. [he counters without conviction. It's important to understand what he had run into, and more than that. Coming here is neither accident nor
unlucky chance; he's been following the murderers of the young magus that helped him.The worst is that this voice sounds vaguely familiar.]

Insomnia
[Diarmuid has entered Cu's room, looking at him laying on the bed. He tilts his head to the side, wondering if he's awake or if he's having trouble sleeping as well.]
If you're still asleep, I'll go but I'd like to sit if you're awake.
[He's quiet enough that Caster won't hear him if he's asleep, but loud enough that words can easily be made out if he isn't asleep.]
screams softly and happily
So Caster welcomes the company. He stirs and raises on elbows from bed- ]
Just sit?
「 ooc: are we going for TFS verse, or for Chaldea stuff? 」
<33 also chaldea stuff
[Servants didn't need to sleep, no, but Diarmuid didn't like disturbing anyone with his words or thoughts if he didn't have to. Looking at Caster and smiling towards him.]
